Client’s Vision & Objectives

REIWA GROUP LTD approached PIXREADY with the goal of launching sales and investment promotion before construction began. The project combines residential buildings with commercial functions and shared infrastructure, forming a resort-style environment rather than a traditional housing development.

The client needed 20+ exterior visuals suitable for large-format printed banners on site, digital marketing, presentations, and website use — all within a tight timeframe ahead of the sales launch. First renders were expected in 1 week.

Visually, the brief called for a contemporary Cypriot architectural language: light-colored concrete and plaster façades, vertical shading elements, recessed balconies, and abundant greenery integrated directly into the architecture. The development had to feel spacious, calm, and premium, with a strong emphasis on outdoor lifestyle — pools, recreation areas, and landscaped courtyards.

A key requirement was to clearly communicate scale and functionality — showing not only the buildings themselves, but how residents would live, relax, and move through the space.

Our Approach & Workflow

Once the SketchUp model and architectural drawings were provided by the client, our team focused on optimizing the geometry and building a single shared production environment. Multiple buildings were developed in parallel, making consistency and coordination critical throughout the process.

Moodboard & References

The client provided architectural references and mood examples that defined the desired lighting conditions, color palette, and level of realism. These references emphasized soft daylight, natural materials, and a relaxed Mediterranean atmosphere.

Using the base model, the team tested multiple lighting scenarios and used AI-assisted iterations to explore subtle variations in sunlight direction, contrast, and shadow softness. This helped align expectations early and lock in the visual direction before full-scale rendering began.

3D Modeling

The modeling phase was based on the provided SketchUp model and PDF drawings. We reworked and optimized the geometry, reconstructed key architectural volumes, and adapted the terrain and landscaping according to the masterplan.

Approximately six unique buildings were modeled and integrated into one unified scene. Despite artists working from different locations, shared access to the combined model allowed seamless collaboration — ensuring consistent façade logic, balcony proportions, and material transitions across the entire complex.

Lighting Setup

Lighting was designed to support the project’s lifestyle narrative. Soft daytime lighting was chosen to clearly reveal architectural depth, balcony recesses, and material textures, while maintaining a calm and inviting mood.

Light was also used compositionally — guiding attention toward communal areas, greenery-filled façades, and shared amenities. The result is an atmosphere that feels warm, balanced, and suitable for everyday living rather than staged or overly dramatic.

Rendering & Camera Setup

The client provided an initial list of required viewpoints, which were used as a foundation. In addition, our team proposed extra camera angles to better express scale, spatial hierarchy, and daily activity within the complex.

In total, 25 exterior renderings were produced. Camera positions were carefully chosen to:

  • Show the full extent of the development
  • Emphasize shared amenities such as the pool and padel court
  • Create a sense of depth and livability through foreground, midground, and background layering

Post-Processing & Enhancements

At the final stage, the visuals were enhanced with people, vehicles, and detailed landscaping to reinforce scale and everyday use. Greenery was enriched and diversified to reflect Mediterranean planting, while outdoor furniture and leisure elements supported the lifestyle positioning.

AI-assisted tools were selectively applied to improve photorealism and natural variation — enhancing vegetation density, integrating people organically into scenes, and adding depth to visible interiors behind glazing.

Client Feedback & Revisions

To streamline approvals, we began with a pilot preview of a single building, allowing the client to confirm key decisions around materials, lighting, textures, and landscaping. This first review set a clear visual benchmark, with the client selecting preferred renders based on composition, lighting, and photorealism, which we then applied across the entire project. The client emphasized the importance of accurate scale, realistic greenery, and a strong sense of realism.

In the second stage, we delivered renders for all buildings to validate the overall mood and architecture, during which some materials were refined, and a padel tennis court was added. Given the tight timeline, previews were delivered promptly, with additional buffer time planned for final high-resolution outputs ahead of the pre-Christmas publication deadline.

Results

The final delivery included 25 high-resolution exterior renderings covering the full development from multiple perspectives.

The visuals enabled the client to launch sales, attract investors, and move forward with construction on schedule. They became a central asset across on-site banners, marketing materials, presentations, and digital platforms.

Team Insights

“Working with tight timelines while aiming for a premium result pushes the team to be extremely focused. Early alignment on mood, a shared working model, and phased approvals helped the team deliver a complex project efficiently. When the client is happy with both the process and the outcome, it’s a win for everyone.”
